In the Kitchen: Executive Chef Daniel Ferreira of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai

Located in the heart of Pearl Jumeirah, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai has blossomed into a leading dining and party destination of the capital. Built over a decade of experience, Executive Chef Daniel Ferreira’s culinary acumen has been merited to being the force behind the game changing concepts that has won the lifestyle beach resort, a cult following.

Chef Daniel said, “In the last eight months alone, my team and I launched a new menu that began operations in early September, and saw the opening of the highly-anticipated Nikki Prive.”

The luxury resort recently partnered with Jebel Ali-based fish farm to source the best available sea food produce. Regarding its new partnership, Chef Daniel commented, “On the culinary front, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Pearl Jumeirah has been developing some interesting concepts of late, starting with our initiative to focus on using only the freshest, high-quality, local ingredients. 50% of the ingredients used in our buffets are sourced locally”. In the latter quarter of 2017, the resort collaborated with a Sharjah-based candy couturier who produced bespoke, pink candy for Nikki Beach in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

With Executive Chef Daniel at the helm, the Nikki Beach team produces two events per month, changing the way Dubai’s perception of hospitality. Exploring global themes, the resort wowed guests with a spectacular Halloween party that incorporated customized pumpkins and themed foods, an exclusive White Party that showcased unrivaled sophistication starting from the buffet, the décor and the arrangements, that all exuded the classic hue, and an unrivaled Gatsby themed New Year Gala that saw unprecedented pomp and splendor.

Currently, Chef Daniel is designing the 2018 experience for Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai. “Expect to see the unexpected this new year.
