It is time for writers to take a strategic position — the position of spiritual leaders, cultural navigators, and guardians of meaning. To give people the language and images of Earth as our common and only home. To become architects of planetary consciousness.

I am convinced that it is the writer who can awaken in a person a new dimension — the dimension of a planetary citizen, to become the voice of those who have no voice: nature, vanishing cultures, future generations.

The writer’s place is at the forefront of the spiritual struggle for the future.
