World-renowned Egyptian composer Omar Khairat, celebrated for his distinctive artistic vision, is preparing to perform a grand concert tomorrow, Saturday, May 23, at 6:00 PM at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, in a musical evening that promises a unique experience for lovers of art and music across Egypt and the Middle East.

Omar Khairat will become the third Egyptian artist to headline a major concert at the Royal Albert Hall stage, and the second Egyptian male artist to achieve this milestone since 1967, following the legendary “Dark-Skinned Nightingale” Abdel Halim Hafez.
Khairat is widely recognized for presenting a unique musical experience that blends Eastern authenticity, the grandeur of classical music, and the contemporary touch of jazz. This exceptional fusion has created a signature sound that combines familiarity with innovation, earning him admiration and acclaim from audiences of all backgrounds and establishing him as one of the most influential musicians of the modern era.

Omar Khairat began his professional journey as a film score composer in the mid-1980s, with his first major work for the film The Night of Fatma’s Arrest, starring the Egyptian icon Faten Hamama.
Over the course of four decades, Khairat has left his musical imprint on more than 120 of Egypt’s most celebrated films and television series. His artistic contributions have also extended to the theater, where he composed music for numerous stage productions, ballets, and operettas.

Internationally, Omar Khairat has performed across North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, including concerts in Russia, Slovenia, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Tunisia, Morocco, and many other countries.
The concert will be accompanied by the internationally acclaimed Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nayer Nagui, and presented by actress and host Yasmina El Abd. The event is sponsored by Tazkarti in cooperation with the Embassy of Egypt in London.
