Now when the winds begin to roar,
She smiles—she’s stronger than before.
Not made of stone, but fire and skin,
With every scar, she rose again.

Ruxshona Abdurahimova, a 10th grade student at Angren, a city of Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, shares her poetry
Rise Again
They told her she was far too small,
She’d never climb, she’d always fall.
But still she stood with steady eyes,
And chased her dreams beneath the skies.
They laughed and said, “She’ll lose her way,”
But step by step, she learned to stay.
She built her wings from broken days,
And flew through fire, through fear, through haze.
Now when they ask, “How did you cope?”
She smiles and says, “I held to hope.”
For even storms will pass and then—
The sun will shine, and I’ll rise again.
She walked through nights without a light,
With silent tears and silent fight.
But in her chest, a spark would glow—
A quiet strength she’d never show.
They tried to break her with their doubt,
To cage her dreams, to shut her out.
But roots grow deep in stormy land,
And she stood tall, with trembling hand.
Now when the winds begin to roar,
She smiles—she’s stronger than before.
Not made of stone, but fire and skin,
With every scar, she rose again.

Just be you
When you fall, don’t cry in vain,
Stand up strong, rise again.
Storms may come, skies may gray,
But the sun returns to light your way
Don’t pretend, don’t wear a mask,
Being real — that’s your task.
Shine your light, be proud, be true,
There’s no one better at being you.
Time will fly, so hold it tight,
Chase your goals with all your might.
Don’t delay or wait too long,
Each heartbeat sings a different song.

In the Quiet of My Heart
I saw you once, the world stood still,
A silent spark, a sudden thrill.
Your eyes, like stars, began to shine,
And in that moment, you were mine.
Through crowded days and moonlit skies,
I searched for you with hopeful eyes.
Each song I heard, each breeze that blew,
Somehow, it all reminded me of you.
And though we’re worlds and miles apart,
You live inside my beating heart.
No time, no space can change what’s true —
A piece of me belongs to you.
So if one day your heart feels cold,
And you need love that’s brave and bold,
Just close your eyes, I won’t be far —
My soul will find you, where you are.

A Dreamer’s Sky
I look at stars with open eyes,
Hoping dreams will touch the skies.
In quiet nights, I start to write,
With words that hold a silent fight.
My heart is small, but full of fire,
Each poem builds a step, a higher spire.
One day they’ll see me, strong and bright,
Not just a girl — but purest light.
