Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi continues to lead the hospitality industry’s business tourism in the capital with a reported increase in its occupancy rates during the first to third quarter of 2017.

“Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is celebrating its best occupancy rate this year at 82%, the highest rate we have come across since our opening,” said Matthias Widor, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriot World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi. He credited market events such as International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, International Diabetes Federation (IDF Congress) and the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in contributing to the success of the hotel. “We are about 80% of the way to reaching our sales target, which we plan to achieve by the fourth quarter of 2017. Despite tough competition in the capital, our forecast shows positive growth measure for Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center for the rest of year.”
