Ambassador Nikoloz Apkhazava has officially begun his diplomatic mission as Georgia’s new Ambassador to Egypt, He presented a copy of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Haitham Salah on 10 September ,Ambassador Apkhazava aims to strengthen Georgian-Egyptian relations across various fields .

 Nikoloz Apkhazava, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, arrived in Cairo on 3 September ,to commence his diplomatic duties.

Ambassador Nikoloz Apkhazava presented a copy of his credentials to His Excellency Ambassador Haitham Salah, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt,on September 10.

During his tenure in Egypt, Ambassador Nikoloz Apkhazava intends to further strengthen and consolidate Georgian-Egyptian relations in various fields. He also aims to invigorate mutual visits between the leaders of both countries, contributing to the advancement of bilateral cooperation.

It is worth noting that Ambassador Abkhazava holds a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) degree from Yokohama National University in Japan. He previously served as Ambassador to Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and the Kingdom of Cambodia. He also served as Georgia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. He began his diplomatic career outside Georgia as a Counselor at the Georgian Embassy in Japan.
